Trump Wants Supporters To Help Him Award ‘Fake News’ Trophy. Who Should Win?
The Left has always dominated the news media in America. It’s been a fact of life that the news would be inundated with liberal bias and that conservatives would be unfairly treated. However, for the most part, there’s been a certain limit or expectation of how brazenly biased the media would be, but since Trump emerged on the scene, all that’s gone out the window.
We’re now living in a post-facts age, where feelings trump facts, as the media has shed all pretense of unbiased coverage, fully embracing and exposing their radical left-wing beliefs. This has given rise to the “fake news” phenomenon, which has been used to undermine Trump. In the face of all this propaganda, President Trump has vehemently fought back, unabashedly labeling places like CNN fake news and calling out networks for their lies. But now the president is asking for help in the fight, as he wants his supporters to help him accurately award a “Fake News Trophy.”
As reported at the Hill, the president has called on supporters via email Thursday, asking for help deciding who should receive the coveted fake news award.

The email provides a link to a poll where respondents can vote on 3 media stories as “fake,” “faker,” or “fakest” news. All the stories in the “fakest” category have been retracted, corrected, or apologized for by the clownish entities that first published them. A few of the choices are an ABC News report that Michael Flynn would testify against Trump, a CNN report that Trump and his son, Donald Jr., were offered early access to WikiLeaks documents, and a Time magazine report that Trump had a bust of Martin Luther King Jr. removed from the Oval Office.
“The FAKE NEWS has utterly abandoned their duty to fairly report the news to the American people,” Thursday’s email reads. “Some journalists and liberal pundits think that Americans are too stupid to see through their amateur efforts to manipulate public opinion, but THEY’RE WRONG.”
The competition is sure to be fierce, as there’s no shortage of worthy entries. The media can laugh off the award and point fingers at places like Fox News, but the reality is that we’ve witnessed an unprecedented amount of deliberately false information being passed off as fact over the past year. But thanks to Trump’s willingness to fight back, folks are finally starting to question the narratives they’re fed daily, rather than just accepting whatever the left-wing media tells them to believe.
