CNN has been at war with Trump for quite some time now. The network, which has always prided itself on its supposed unbiased and non-partisan reporting, has shed all pretense of that thin veneer, opting to move their coverage to the far Left.
The network’s “reporters” and commentators trash Trump day in and day out, throwing out all sorts of unverified accusations in order to craft the perfect anti-Trump narrative. While theirs no shortage of clowns at the CNN circus, one of the worst offenders is their chief White House reporter, who’s usually not supposed to be such a hateful partisan hack. The man, Jim Acosta, once again proved why no one takes his employers news coverage serious on Thursday.
As reported at Breitbart, during Thursday’s broadcast of its show the “Situation Room” Acosta slandered the president saying that he “seems to harbor racist feelings about people of color, from other parts of the world.”
He made this outrageous statement in response to a Washington Post story that claims Trump refers to Haiti, El Salvador, and countries in Africa as “sh*thole” countries. Which, with all due respect, is true, and something average folks do every single say when talking about the third world and even places in America–it’s just hyperbole.
While making the statement, Acosta pointed to the White House’s response to the Post story, saying that it must be true since there wasn’t a clear denial.
“Wolf, as you can tell from that statement, there’s no denial as to what the president said. They’re not denying that the president said this, in this statement. And so, we’re just going to have to press the White House further on this,” Acosta said.
He later added, “I almost have to think back to the day when we were at Trump Tower, when the president was commenting on Charlottesville, and he was saying that there were ‘very fine people on both sides,’ saying that there were ‘very fine people’ among the white supremacists and the Nazis, is that the president of the United States just seems to have a problem here, Wolf, in this area. And we can tiptoe around it, we can dance around it, and not really put our finger on it, but the president seems to harbor racist feelings about people of color, from other parts of the world. And it’s just a terrible thing to have come out of your mouth as a White House correspondent, or as a journalist. But if these comments are accurate, Wolf, I think it just is going to cause more damage, more grave damage to this presidency because it cuts to the very core of who he is. You just shouldn’t be referring to countries like that around the world in this manner. In the United States, as we’ve been talking about many, many times over the last several months, we bring in people from all parts of the world, and obviously, there are good, wonderful people who come from Haiti and from Africa and so on.”
It’s interesting to see a leftist like Acosta hand-wringing about how the president supposedly refers to third world countries. Because the Left trashes America all the time, calling it a “racist” country and constantly declaring how awful it is. Not only that, some of these countries openly smear the US for things like daring to turn back their fleeing countrymen, or not providing them enough aid.
Acosta has proven himself to be a clown time and again, and these latest comments just prove how desperate he is for Trump to be a racist. To leftists, not wanting the entire third world to walk through our front door makes us racist, which is precisely why such accusations should be ignored, as we’re operating under a completely different paradigm, so it’s fruitless to argue or play by their rigged rules.
