About Us
Yes I’m Right is a conservative commentary and news archive. Between 2015 and 2018 our writers covered the campaign trail, the culture wars, faith, crime and the media — from the perspective of readers who felt the national press had stopped speaking to them.
What this site is
This is a curated archive. The pieces collected here were originally published between July 2015 and November 2018, and they are preserved as they ran — the arguments, the predictions and the reporting of the moment, with their original publication dates intact.
We think that matters. A great deal of commentary from that period has quietly vanished or been silently re-dated. Reading it as it was written, when it was written, is the only honest way to judge what any of us got right.
What we believe
The convictions that shaped this coverage haven’t changed: limited government, the Constitution as written, free expression, faith and family, and a healthy distrust of institutions that have earned it.
We also believe readers can handle an argument. Nothing here is written on the assumption that you need protecting from the other side’s case.
How to read the archive
Every article carries its original publication date. Where a piece made a prediction, you can see when it was made and judge it accordingly. Where events have since moved on, they have — we have not gone back and quietly rewritten history to improve our record.
Our approach to accuracy and corrections is set out in full on our editorial standards page.
