This policy describes what Yes I’m Right collects and what it does with it. It is written to describe this site as it actually operates today.
What we collect
If you subscribe or contact us: the email address you enter, plus any name, subject and message you provide. That’s it. We ask for nothing else.
If you just read: nothing that identifies you. This site runs no analytics, no advertising scripts, no social pixels and no tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of you, and we could not tell you which articles you have read.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies.
It stores a single value in your browser’s local storage, recording that you have already seen or dismissed the newsletter prompt, so it doesn’t reappear on every page. That value never leaves your browser and is not readable by us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Who processes your data
- Netlify hosts this site and receives form submissions. Like any web host, it processes server logs including IP addresses.
- YouTube serves the video embedded in some articles. We use
youtube-nocookie.com, so YouTube sets nothing until you actually press play. If you never play a video, no request reaches them.
We use no other third-party services. Your email address is not shared with, sold to, or rented to anyone.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe using the link in any email we send.
- Ask what we hold about you, and we’ll tell you.
- Ask us to delete it, and we will.

External links
Articles link to other sites, particularly older pieces citing contemporary reporting. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site under their policy, not ours. We can’t vouch for what they do.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
