Raise your hand if you think that a strong jaw line and good workout routine makes someone qualified to direct the country. Nobody? That’s what I think as well, which is what makes it curious that the Hollywood types keep trying to do just that.
Still though, actors like Chris Evans that command a large audience because of their work on the silver screen attempt to influence you and I, and a lot of people tend to listen. The latest work of fiction flowing through Twitter seems to be the belief that CNN anchor would make a better President than Donald Trump.
Via Breitbart News:
Actor Chris Evans urged Don Lemon to challenge Donald Trump for the presidency in 2020, after the CNN host went on a rant about the president’s remarks at Tuesday’s rally in Phoenix, Arizona.

Evans’s plea for Lemon to run for president was inspired by the CNN anchor’s long winded [sic] rebuttal of President Trump’s speech to a packed crowd of supporters at the Phoenix Convention Center.
“What we witnessed is a total eclipse of the facts. Someone who came out on stage and lied directly to the American people and left things out that he said in an attempt to rewrite history, especially when it comes to Charlottesville,” Lemon said of Trump’s remarks late Tuesday night. “He’s unhinged, it’s embarrassing, and I don’t mean for us, the media because he went after us, but for the country. This is who we elected president of the United States. A man who is so petty that he has to go after people he deems to be his enemy, like an imaginary friend of a six-year-old.”
Here’s Lemon’s commentary on President Trump’s Phoenix rally.
Warning: If you haven’t watched it yet, you might find yourself suffering from nausea, rage or even depression upon experiencing CNN in its pure form. Proceed at your own risk.

Well, somebody is lying, we know that. President Trump says it’s people like Lemon, and people like Lemon say that it’s President Trump. All political bias aside, this is when it would come in really handy for the media to have a good reputation. Too bad for them, they do not.
Let’s say that you’re presented with two almost perfect strangers. The only thing you know about them is that they both talk a lot, one has proven themselves over and over to be a liar, and they’re saying two conflicting things. Who are you going to believe? Are you gonna say, “everybody deserves a second (or 35th) chance” and go with the proven liar, or are you going to take a risk on the unknown entity who hasn’t been proved a liar? That’s the question that Americans are facing with the mainstream media right now.
It’s like getting your water from contaminated pipes; sure, some of the water will be clean, but once it’s mixed with the poison, it doesn’t really matter because it’s all contaminated. There may be a fringe faction that wants the likes of Lemon to run for office, but I’d be concerned that your leader, Captain America has taken one too many blows to the head if I were you.
