If the liberal media could tell me again how Russia influenced the election in which Trump won, I’d greatly appreciate it. With exactly zero evidence to that “fact,” the liberal media has engaged a fake news barrage the last few months.
Grasping at straws and trying to force made up stories down America’s throat, as is their MO. But what’s getting lost in all of this? How about the fact that the Obama administration used your tax dollars to actually influence overseas elections.
According to reports, there is a serious investigation into this matter. Not only is it about the Obama administration using funds to influence the election of Macedonia, but also that they funneled it all through, you guessed it, George Soros’ Open Society Foundation to help the swaying.
This, folks, is how liberal government cronies operate.
“I have received credible reports that, over the past few years, the US Mission to Macedonia has actively intervened in the party politics of Macedonia, as well as in the shaping of its media environment and civil society, often favoring groups of one political persuasion over another.”
In March, Lee and Senators Jim Inhofe (R-OK), Thom Tillis (R-NC), Ted Cruz (R-TX), David Perdue (R-GA), and Bill Cassidy (R-LA) requested that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson investigate.
USAID, which is responsible for doling out civilian foreign aid, has officially partnered with the Open Society Foundations. Since 2012, the government agency has given $1.5 million in grants to organizations chosen by the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia (FOSM) and $4.8 million to launch a “Civil Society Project” implemented by FOSM.
Just last August, USAID announced a nearly $9.5 million program that would last until 2021 and would be administered in partnership with FOSM, Metamorphosis, the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI), and the National Youth Council of Macedonia. Metamorphosis was launched in 1999 by the Open Society Foundations and has since become independent.
It turns out that much of the money given in grants in Macedonia ended up supporting news outlets which promoted a political stance, thus equaling the U.S.’ standard for political interference in another country’s election. […]
A 2012 call for grants for the USAID’s “Civil Society Project,” also mentions “use of new media.”
What this essentially means is that they bought an election in a tiny country. That could mean huge influence in what Macedonia says and does within its own borders. And your tax dollars bought it all.
Here’s what Macedonia has to offer that Obama could possibly be interested in, according to Wikipedia:
Macedonia has bilateral free trade agreements with Ukraine, Turkey, and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA—Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein). Bilateral agreements with Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Rep. of Kosovo, and Moldova were replaced by membership in the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA). Macedonia also has concluded an “Agreement for Promotion and Protection of Foreign Direct Investments” with Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Belarus, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Egypt, Iran, Italy, India, Spain, Serbia, Montenegro, People’s Republic of China, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Croatia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Sweden.
Yes, it seems they have connections all over the world and are a leader in technology development and outsourcing. Imagine what Obama could have done in that country and with those connections, especially with his history of wiretaps, surveillance, and civil liberties violations
Let’s expose this and make sure the world sees how the liberals truly operate.
