How did we get to this point, people? I asked this to the liberals because we conservatives sure as hell didn’t put her in the position she’s currently in.
At last night’s debate, when asked by biased co-moderator Martha Raditz if it’s acceptable for a candidate to have both a public and private opinion on certain issues. As ridiculous a question as this was, Hillary Clinton looked to a movie (yes a movie) for the answer.
Trump’s response will go down in political history as one of the best ever.
I mean that’s awesome. Let’s take a step back analyze this a bit though.
The question itself is completely asinine. Who in their right mind asks a politician or major party candidate if they should have differing opinions both publicly and privately? That is just teeing up Hillary Clinton for success. A politician should NEVER have an opinion that differs from what they say to the American public, which is exactly what Hillary Clinton does. Trump has never done that and has only spoken from the heart. His public opinion is his private opinion.
Hillary then utilizes a semi-fictional depiction of Abraham Lincoln, arguably the greatest president in American history, the president who freed the slaves, as her basis for answering the question. How does she know that’s how he operated? That could be a Hollywood lie, yet she uses it as her answer. Does she ever have an original thought ever?
This is how you get in trouble and how you become untrustworthy, with answer like these. Hillary Clinton says things to the American people she doesn’t even believe in private? That’s not the makings of a president, that’s the makings of a pathological liar. Trump’s response should be shared the world over for being concise and honest.
There’s one clear choice for president here and he’s wearing the red tie.
