Almost anywhere you choose to go on November 9th, 2016 you could see an incredible amount of emotion on the faces of Americans. Whether the surprised supporters of the winner or the horrified wailing and gnashing of teeth by those who supported Hillary, it showed just what an epic upset that election was.
It was long suspected that universities were basically just breeding grounds of liberal thought, but their actions following the election were downright disturbing. These universities were especially understanding of their distraught students, many of whom gave extensions for tests or even days off so their students could grieve without it affecting their souvenir GPAs.
In order to see if they could decipher just how badly things had gotten, Campus Reform decided to do a test.
…I went undercover at American University, posing as a student with the fictitious group “American Students for Diversity.” Armed with a clipboard, I asked students if they would be willing to sign my petition to urge the school to ban the hiring of any professor who had voted for Donald Trump in November.
Throughout the day it became clear that the overwhelming majority of students on campus had no interest in hearing from any professor holding political beliefs different from their own. Student after student eagerly signed the petition; one said having a professor who voted for Trump would “really inhibit people from going to class.”
Apparently, the left is completely ok with commandeering words or phrases to suit their own meaning, because what these people are touting, is not diversity, and it’s not tolerance.
Thankfully, just like the President before him, Trump isn’t too concerned with what those against him are saying, he’s going to keep on fulfilling his promises and changing things the way he promised his party he would.
