Supreme Court Rules That Black People Have The Legal Right To Run From Police

It’s official. This country has gone completely and utterly insane. I’m actually struggling to find the words to properly describe how absolutely ridiculous this truly is.

A high court in Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Supreme Court in fact, has just ruled that under certain circumstances that it is actually OKAY for black men to run from the police. The ruling said that “Terry” stops are the appropriate times. What’s a Terry stop? Glad you asked.

A Terry stop is defined as “a brief detention and search of an individual due to reasonable suspicion of criminal conduct.” So that means that in Massachusetts it will be perfectly legal for a cop to see something suspicious, stop a black male, and for that male to simply run away. That’s right.

The law in the US as we know it is officially over. This is the first step to total and complete anarchy.

Black men may have a legitimate reason to flee Boston police during investigatory or “Terry” stops, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled Tuesday.

In this case, a black male named Jimmy Warren was arrested in 2011 by Boston cops investigating a burglary on Hutchings Street near Franklin Park. The officers conducted a search of the Roxbury neighborhood near the crime scene with a vague and nonspecific description of the suspects — one was wearing dark clothing, one was wearing a black hoodie, and the other a red hoodie. Warren and an associate, both of whom who were wearing dark clothing, were approached by police and stopped in connection with their investigation of the burglary. Both men fled.

So you’d think that this would lead to the law right? These men we doing nothing wrong, right? They were the victims of “pig” cops that just stop and shoot blacks, right?

When apprehended by authorities shortly thereafter, police did not find any contraband on his person, but found an unlicensed .22 caliber firearm in an adjacent yard. Warren was arrested and convicted of unlawful possession of a gun.

Warren attempted to suppress the firearm and statements made after his arrest, arguing the stop was unlawful because police lacked reasonable suspicion (their clothing only bearing a general similarity to the description they had.) The state argued the fact Warren fled strengthens the officer’s reasonable suspicion analysis.

Oh. Well then. The court is wrong. But wait there’s more.

The Massachusetts supreme court rejected that argument, finding that, while the fact of flight is reasonably suspicious, a black male in Boston may have good reason to evade any encounter with police due to systemic racism in the city police department.

Ah yes, the old “racism” card. It’s absolutely because cops are racist right? It’s absolutely because all cops hate blacks right? It couldn’t be because there is a disproportionately high rate of crime, weapons possession, drug use and trade, and rape in minority communities right?

Nah, that’d be too logical. Instead of changing things to make a difference, let’s just say cops are racist and that’ll show ’em! The court in Massachusetts is full of complete and utter morons. All of them. I’m officially calling for the immediate disbarring of the entire Supreme Court of Massachusetts under unlawful endangerment of the state.

This is not only the first step towards total anarchy, but also the first step in making all Americans less safe. If the police cannot properly do their job, why have police at all? Let’s just let people run wild in the streets with guns and bombs!? What this means is that personal firearms are going to be a hot commodity in the coming years because that’ll be the only way left to actually protect yourself.
