Michael Avenatti, Stormy Daniels’ attorney, is like a snake oil salesman at a county fair. He keeps dangling tidbits in front of his audience, promising to deliver a juicy piece if they just stick around.
Daniels’ story is told, her interview with 60 has been aired, yet Avenatti is still talking about the big reveal. Among other things, he claims that Daniels’ can describe the president’s private area in extreme detail.
“When she sat for that interview, it actually lasted over two hours in length, the actual interview,” Avenatti told Megyn Kelly.
“And then the portion that the American public saw was only 14 or 16 minutes of actual interview time on ‘60 Minutes’… For instance, she can describe the president’s genitalia in great detail. That did not make it.”
Avenatti and Daniels’ haven’t provided compelling proof that she and the president once had an affair. The 60 Minutes interview wasn’t the bombshell that it was supposed to be.
If the only thing Daniels and Avenatti have up their sleeves is a description of Trump’s private parts, they don’t have much.
“This is a game. This guy is a master performer. He’s playing games with everybody. It’s unbelievable,” David Schwartz, the attorney representing Trump’s lawyer, said.
“Yeah, he shows you a picture of a CD in a safe. He says he’s got — believe me, whatever he has came out on ’60 Minutes.’ And I think everyone, even the Trump haters, were completely underwhelmed.”
Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, is involved in the scandal because he’s the one who blabbed about the nondisclosure statement she signed and he’s the one who forked over $130,000 to keep her quiet.
It’s not clear why people are still talking about the scandal. There doesn’t seem to be anything new to learn. Who cares about consensual relationships Trump had 12 years ago?
