Over the past few weeks, the left-wing media’s been harping on unsubstantiated claims about Trump’s fidelity to his wife. As usual, the media’s presented the story as if it’s true or likely to be true, in order to undermine the president.
They’ve even used the supposed affair to back up their speculation over Melania’s attire for Tuesday nights State of the Union speech, saying her white garb was a feminist slight amid her husband’s betrayal and various sexual harassment allegations against him. While this kind of propaganda is par for the course, the narrative was dealt a serious blow on Tuesday when Stormy Daniels set the record straight herself.
As reported at the Daily Mail, adult film star Stormy Daniel released a statement ahead of Trump’s speech and her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” categorically denying she ever had an affair with him.
Daniels has been making the media rounds lately to explain her relationship, or lack thereof, with the president, after one of her friends made claims that Daniels told her she had sex with Trump back in 2006.
“The fact of the matter is that each party to this alleged affair denied its existence in 2006, 20011 (sic), 2016, 2017 and now again in 2018,” the statement says.
“I am not denying this affair because I was paid “hush money” as it has been reported in overseas owned tabloids. I am denying this affair because it never happened.“
While Daniels is denying the affair outright now, it seems that in the past she attempted to sell her sex story in 2011 and right before the 2016 election.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Daniels going to make an appearance on Good Morning America to talk about the affair in fall 2016. However, she canceled in the end.
The claims against Trump allege that his personal lawyer paid her $130,000 to keep quiet in October 2016, which has been seized upon by the media as to why she canceled her television appearance.
It’s hard to know what true in this whole ordeal, especially with all the wolf-crying as of late, and Daniels back and forth stance on the issue, which has differed in public and private. Regardless, the damage has been done, and no letter of denial will stop leftists from believing every negative allegation against the president.
