Harvey Weinstein should be sending folks like Al Franken and John Conyers one of those $230K gift baskets they hand out to celebrities at the Oscars every year, as their own inability to keep their hands to themselves has taken much of the spotlight off the disgusting degenerate.
However, thanks to the seemingly endless sex crimes he’s committed over the years, he’s once again on the front page, as another accuser has come forward with some fresh and interesting allegations against him and another high-profile celebrity.
As reported at Page Six, an aspiring actress says Harvey Weinstein used Oprah Winfrey and Naomi Campbell to dupe her into thinking he would help her with her career–only to turn around and use her for sex.
On Tuesday, British actress Kadian Noble said she was highly impressed when she first met Weinstein at a London event because he was hanging out with supermodel Campbell and had megastar Oprah “swinging off his arm.”
“I thought, obviously, this man has something amazing in store for me,” she said while crying during a Manhattan press conference put together to discuss the sex trafficking lawsuit she filed a day earlier against Weinstein in Manhattan federal court.
Rather than help boost her career, Noble claims the Hollywood mogul took her to his hotel room in Cannes, France and forced himself on her. “I felt completely played,” she said.
Noble is one of fifty plus women to accuse Weinstein of crimes ranging from sexual harassment to rape. In what’s become an embarrassing routine for the disgraced pervert, he had his spokesman come out and deny the charges.
“Mr. Weinstein denies allegations of non-consensual sex,” his spokeswoman said. “Mr. Weinstein has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances.”
While Weinstein is obviously in the wrong here, Noble’s recollections of events paint a damning picture of her own naivety and stunning lack of intelligence. For someone so desperate and close to getting into to the Hollywood scene, her lack of skepticism and general knowledge of how folks do “business” in the industry is unbelievable.
After meeting Weinstein in London, Noble said she thought nothing of bringing her “showreel” to his hotel room when she saw him again in Cannes, France, in February 2014. Right, because ever mogul wants to go over some Z-lister’s “highlight reel” while attending the most high-brow and prestigious awards event in the world.
Once inside the hotel room, however, “he didn’t seem that interested in my showreel,” Nobel said. SHOCKING!
Instead, he began touching her while discussing hooking her up with a modeling agency in London. “He said, “I need to know you really like me,” Nobel said. “I have all the information we need. I just need to know you really like me.”
Noble claims Weinstein took he into the bathroom where he “forced” her to perform various sex acts in front of the bathroom mirror. Of course, Weinstein never got back to the aspiring actress, and she now blames him for destroying her “promising” career after reporting him to the NYPD.
Noble’s since filed a lawsuit the alleges Weinstein routinely preys upon young actresses, using promises of stardom and career advancement to get them into bed.
Her lawyer, Jeff Herman, said he is hoping for “millions of dollars” in damages. “The jury will decide what they think her damages call for,” Herman said at the same press conference. But it will be “significant,” he said. “It will go into the millions of dollars.”
The sheer number of accusers is difficult to keep track of, but one thing’s for sure, Weinstein’s going to be losing a lot of money in the days to come, and possibly wind up behind bars. The scumbag deserves nothing less for his years of depravity and unconscionable behavior.
