Supreme Court Justice nominee, Judge Neil Gorsuch, is the epitome of professionalism. He’s the kind of Judge that makes you understand why they are called “honorable.” Unfortunately, his patience has been put to the test during his confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court.
Such was the case when he was being questioned by Al Franken. A few social media users caught what, they hoped, was a little glimmer that his honor is just like the rest of us in some ways.
Here’s a little taste of the way Franken decided to hassle the would be Supreme Court Justice about having a political opinion in the past.
Sen. Franken asked Gorsuch if he thought Merrick Garland was treated fairly https://t.co/FQMWAFZZnb #GorsuchHearing https://t.co/86bq82VwUO

The absurdity continued throughout Franken’s questioning, and Gorsuch did eventually let a little emotion through, in the greatest understated way possible.

Personally, I think the alleged eye roll was a very mild reaction to all that Gorsuch has had to endure at the hands of these leftist bullies.
I’m not sure if any of us can really imagine since we haven’t been there, what it’s like to be grilled for hours and hours about things we’ve done in the past. It’s like an interrogation when you’ve done nothing wrong. There should probably be a two-way mirror and some bad coffee involved.
