Former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony before the Senate was a highly anticipated event by both of the major political parties. Everybody had questions that they believed Comey would have the answers for. Unfortunately, not everybody got the answers they wanted, and maybe even gained a few more questions in the aftermath.
The liberals especially were crossing their fingers and saying their prayers that they’d be able to pin more than just some unconventional methods on our new President, but their plans and theories didn’t get quite the boost they’d hoped.
MSNBC host Chris Matthews said Thursday that theories about President Donald Trump colluding with the Russians during the 2016 election “came apart” after former FBI Director James Comey’s congressional testimony.
“Where’s the there there?” Matthews asked in a clip flagged by the Washington Examiner.
Comey appeared before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday morning to answer questions related to his firing, his past meetings with Trump, and the investigation into ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.
During his testimony, Comey validated past claims that Trump was not personally being investigated, and stated his opinion that the president had not wanted him to drop the Russia investigation, only the probe into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

I heard a whole lot of questions, but not a whole lot of answers. I guess that’s just how MSNBC does it when they get lost and confused; they take their viewers along for the ride.
Coming away from that interview, I don’t think anyone would be able to assume that President Trump and former Director James Comey liked one another, but they can’t say that anything illegal was done, either. And unfortunately for the entire Democratic party in America today, not liking someone isn’t reason enough to prosecute or impeach them.
