Stormy Daniels lawyer, Michael Avenatti, is becoming more famous than she is. He’s a masterful self-promoter, he thrusts himself into the news whenever he can.
He’s back in the spotlight. He claims that President Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, is intricately involved with Sean Hannity.
“I think that the relationship is going to be far more extensive than Mr. Hannity has led people to believe,” Michael Avenatti said.
“I don’t know that there’s anything nefarious that went on between Mr. Hannity and Mr. Cohen, or that there was any NDA-type involvement or anything of that nature… But what I do know is I think it’s going to be far more extensive than people have been led to believe.”
After the news spilled that Hannity was a client of Cohen’s, the Fox New star went on the defensive. He denied having a relationship with Cohen and said that he’d talked to him for 10 minutes maybe about real estate.
“While Fox News was unaware of Sean Hannity’s informal relationship with Michael Cohen and was surprised by the announcement in court yesterday, we have reviewed the matter and spoken to Sean and he continues to have our full support,” the network said in a statement.
Hannity is the current king of cable news, so it’s not surprising that Fox News is sticking by him. They already lost Bill O’Reilly to scandal, they’d be in a bad spot if they had to give another anchor the boot.
The liberal media isn’t going to lose the scent. Whatever Hannity’s relationship with Trump’s lawyer was, journalists are going to sniff it out.
The scandal is particularly juicy because Cohen is currently under federal investigation. Prosecutors are looking at a series of suspect payments to mistresses. O’Reilly was toppled by sexual misconduct allegations.
Will Hannity go the same way?
