Oprah Winfrey for president? The liberal fantasy is less far-fetched than it seems. 2020 is looming and nobody likes the Democrats. Who can they run? No one in their beleaguered party has a chance of defeating Donald Trump.
Unless Winfrey turns to politics. The former talk show host is one of America’s favorite celebrities. Even conservatives like her. A Thursday night tweet hinting at a possible 2020 run quickly went viral. Winfrey could pose a serious challenge to the GOP.

Last March Bloomberg’s David Rubenstein told Winfrey “it’s clear you don’t need government experience to be elected president of the United States.”
“That’s what I thought,” she responded. “I thought, ‘Oh, gee, I don’t have the experience, I don’t know enough.’ And now I’m thinking, ‘Oh.’”
In other words, if Trump can do it, she can. Unfortunately, she might be right. She’s free of the negative associations tarnishing most Democrats. Even Infowars’ Alex Jones thinks conservatives should be concerned.
Take a look:
Now for the good news. Winfrey has publicly averred that she will never run for public office. Do you believe her?
I don’t. If she didn’t want to run before, she will soon. Democrats know that she’s their best chance. They’re going to start hounding her incessantly, trying to convince her to run. They probably already are.
