Of the 1,000 current FBI domestic terrorism cases – 300 – involve those admitted to the U.S. as refugees, a Department of Homeland Security official said Monday. These “refugees” include people being investigated for their involvement with ISIS, and those coming from countries cited on President Trump’s revised travel ban.
Officials said some of those 300 came to “infiltrate” the U.S., while others were radicalized once they were in the country. Attorney General Jeff Sessions confirmed these facts in a news conference on Monday.
“Like every nation, the United States has a right to control who enters our country and to keep out those who would do us harm,” Sessions said.

According to FBI Director James Comey, late in 2015, there were some 900 active terror investigations going on, with probes in every state. However, Monday’s development marked the first official linkage between the refugee program and terrorism.
One can understand, it’s human nature for birds of a feather to flock together. That’s why we have places like “China Town” and “Little Italy,” but America is about to have an even bigger problem on its hands if the extremists are not only infiltrating but converting the immigrants already in the U.S.
So much of the criticism over the President’s travel ban seems like a political chess move. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together can see that the terrorism being carried out both here and around the world, is coming from the radical Islamist belief system, but the social powers that be are shaming us into making all sorts of exceptions.
Of course not every middle easterner is a terrorist, just like every caucasian isn’t a member of the KKK or a Nazi. But you can be absolutely sure that if I see someone wearing a white pointy hat, or sporting a swastika tattoo, I have zero intention of trusting them. . . and I’m white!
The choices people make, in religion and association, will always and forever affect their future. Social influencers will always try and convince the weak-minded that common sense should be abandoned and what our eyes see should be ignored. However, it’s always been our policy in the United States to tread carefully but carry a big stick.
