Trump Just Revealed Sick Connection Between NYC Terrorist And Chuck Schumer

Much to the left-wing media’s dismay, another terror attack has been carried out on US soil by a radical Muslim. Eight lives have been lost in the New York City truck attack, reminiscent of the attacks plaguing Europe in recent years.

While the investigation is only just starting, the president is using this attack to elicit support for his extreme vetting program for would-be immigrants.

As reported at Fox News, in the immediate aftermath of the attack, President Trump took to Twitter to criticize the liberal immigration program that allowed the terrorist to infiltrate the country.

“The terrorist came into our country through what is called the ‘Diversity Visa Lottery Program,’ a Chuck Schumer beauty. I want merit based,” Trump tweeted. “We are fighting hard for Merit Based immigration, no more Democrat Lottery Systems. We must get MUCH tougher (and smarter).”

The ISIS zealot behind the attack came to the US 7 years ago from Uzbekistan via the Diversity Visa Program. As Trump continues his crusade to reform the immigrant vetting system, the details surrounding Saipov’s entry into the US could provide a perfect example of how not to vet immigrants.

This insane Diversity Visa Program run by the State Department offers a lottery for people from countries with few immigrants in America a get in free card even if they have nothing to offer.

The DV program makes up to 50,000 immigrant visas available annually, “drawn from random selection among all entries to individuals who are from countries with low rates of immigration” to the U.S., according to the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services website.

Applicants must prove they have a clean criminal record, have a high school diploma or its equivalent, or have at least two years of work experience within the past five years in order to qualify. What high standards!

The reason Trump attacked Schumer over the program is because he’s the one that introduced the bill that created it back in 1990, because he wanted more “diversity immigrants.”

Trump and Republicans are looking to overturn the egregious rule, but are facing a difficult road thanks to weak-kneed RINOs and the high likelihood that any new vetting measures will be struck down by the leftist courts. Leftists don’t want a common sense immigration approach, they essentially want to make the US a complete hodge-podge mixture of people from every country on the planet.

Instead of focusing on bringing in people that share our values and will assimilate into our culture, they just want “diversity” for the sake of it, paying no mind to the negative consequences of such a policy. The diversity program is anti-American through and through, and should be relegated to the dustbin as soon as possible.
