The last few weeks have been a blur of untangling of person after person from the Obama Whitehouse who were responsible for leaks, and wiretaps and declassifications of documents and all sorts of other illegal activities. Somehow, though, these Obama officials just keep spouting about the law as if that automatically means everyone followed the law to the letter.
Nothing could be further from the truth, as is evidenced in part by last month’s interview with Susan Rice, Obama’s former National Security Advisor who was discovered to have unmasked the identities of US citizens illegally being surveilled.
“I know nothing about this, I was surprised to see reports from Chairman Nunes on that count today.”
“So, today, I really don’t know to what Chairman Nunes was referring, but he said that whatever he was referring to was a legal, lawful surveillance, and that it was potentially incidental collection on American citizens,” added Rice.
I think what we should probably be most disturbed about is how unmoved this official is spouting absolute lies. This isn’t somehow rationalized deception, this has been proved to be absolutely false. When I’m watching her, I want to believe her because of how calm she is, but we already know it to be a lie, based on empirical data. Kinda makes you want to go back and re-think all the other things we have accepted as fact just because a politician said they were true.
No one is worried about the law, no one is worried about the rights of Americans, they’re just worried about how much they can do without getting caught. It’s time to consider the possibility that America was ripped apart from the inside by a group of sociopaths who are only covering for one another now because if they go down, they’re all going down together.
They were so sure that their precious Hillary would win, and that no one could touch them, that they got more and more emboldened. I suppose that’s what we get for taking Obama on the chin for two terms. None of us even realized how deeply this corruption went, but when you are more worried about keeping the peace than the character of the people you put into office, this is what you get.
