Socialism won’t die. A punk infantry officer spoiled his West Point graduation by using the ceremony as a platform to spread his wild ideas. Second Lt. Spenser Rapone cheekily hid pro-communism messages on his uniform, defying the military’s ban on uniformed soldiers making a political statement.
Picture’s of Rapone’s uniform alterations quickly went viral. The Army officer scribbled a message on the inside of his hat and wore a Che Guevera t-shirt under his uniform jacket. It’s a jarring contrast, seeing pro-socialist messaging on the body of an elite American soldier.

The military condemned Rapone’s actions.
“The U.S. Military Academy strives to develop leaders who internalize the academy’s motto of Duty, Honor, Country, and who live the Army values. Second Lieutenant Rapone’s actions in no way reflect the values of the U.S. Military Academy or the U.S. Army,” officials said.
“As figures of public trust, members of the military must exhibit exemplary conduct, and are prohibited from engaging in certain expressions of political speech in uniform. Second Lieutenant Rapone’s chain of command is aware of his actions…”
The toxic political climate among modern Democrats encourages actions like Rapone’s. They don’t care about duty or respect, they just want to rack up Instagram likes. If Rapone doesn’t like America’s politics he shouldn’t have joined the military.
