If you listen to the media, from Hollywood to CNN, then you’d be hard-pressed not to think that Muslims are the most peaceful people on the planet. For some reason, the Left has allied itself with Islam, despite it being guilty of all the sins they’re constantly accusing Christians of.
It’s quite the head-scratcher, to see such vehement hatred directed at the evil, bigoted Christians, and at the same time, such deep love for Muslims. But anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that radical Islam is a huge global problem and that the so-called “moderate” side of Islam is anything but. Recent months have once again provided Americans ample evidence of how prominent “moderate” Islamic clerics talk behind closed doors.
As reported at the New York Post, former US law-enforcement officials have caught numerous Muslim clerics on tape threatening the lives of Jews from their American mosques. Officials are afraid that such rhetoric from religious leaders will lead to violent attacks.
In the past six months, least five prominent US imams have been recorded preaching violence against Jews in their sermons.
Despite their clear calls to violence, these imams aren’t prosecuted, nor are they even slapped on the wrist by any Islamic leadership.
“It’s outrageous they aren’t immediately removed and investigated for what may be solicitation [to commit a crime of violence],” was the view of veteran FBI Special Agent John Guandolo, who now runs a counter-terrorism consulting firm, Understanding the Threat LLC.
In November, the FBI released some statistics showing anti-Jewish hate crimes are significantly on the rise, and they’re worried that the trend is only going to continue, especially in light of Trump’s desire to move the US embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.
Imam Abdullah Khadra of Raleigh, NC, invoked a Jew-killing hadith (a collection of the sayings of Muhammad), saying the Muslim prophet “gave us the glad tidings that we will fight those Jews until the rocks and the trees will speak: ‘Oh Muslim, this is a Jew behind me,” according to MEMRI.
Last month, Sheikh Ramadan Elsabagh of Garland, Texas, posted a recorded prayer on his Facebook page calling for Israel’s destruction: “Oh Allah, destroy the Zionists and their allies.” according to a translation by Washington-based Investigative Project on Terrorism. His sermon reportedly drew several comments of “amen, amen.”
New Jersey Imam Aymen Elkasaby invoked “martyrdom” as a means to take revenge on the Jews, whom he called “apes and pigs.” He then prayed for their annihilation, eliciting cheers from the Muslim men attending his Jersey City mosque.
“Count them one by one, and kill them down to the very last one! Do not leave a single one on the face of the Earth,” the cleric ranted.
The Islamic Center of Jersey City said it suspended Elkasaby for one month without pay following his hateful tirade, but not before mosque president Ahmed Shaheed tacitly defended his actions by pointing the finger at other religions. “There are extremists in the Jewish, Christian and Buddhist religions, and everything can be taken in the wrong way,” he lamented. Ah yes, so many Christians blowing themselves up these days while invoking Jesus’ name.
These revelations are hardly surprising, nor are the reactions by the “leaders” in the Muslim community, who are always quick to talk about how moderate and peaceful they are. Let’s just hope that maniacs aren’t inspired by these imams’ rhetoric.
