Is the Trump presidency in danger? Political pot-stirrer Michael Wolff claims that the revelations provided by his new book will torch Trump’s reputation and lead to impeachment.
You’ve probably heard of the book. Liberal media outlets have been pushing it so hard you would think they were receiving a cut of the sales. Called “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” Wolff’s pulpy book describes a semi-literate buffoon surrounded by obsequious yes-men.
“I think one of the interesting effects of the book so far is a very clear emperor-has-no-clothes effect,” Wolff said smugly.
Unsurprisingly, Trump isn’t taking the attack quietly. He absolutely refutes the book’s outrageous claims.
“Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book,” Trump tweeted. “He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad!”
People have predicting President Trump’s demise since the day he took office, and so far they’ve all been proven wrong. Wolff’s salacious bundle of lies will only entertain the public for so long. The book will be forgotten long before Trump leaves the White House.
“The story that I have told seems to present this presidency in such a way that it says he can’t do his job,” Wolff said.
“Suddenly everywhere people are going ‘oh my God, it’s true, he has no clothes’. That’s the background to the perception and the understanding that will finally end … this presidency.”
