There are times when what we really need to get the proper view on something is an outside perspective. Sometimes we are just too close to an issue to really understand what’s happening. Thankfully, British journalist, Piers Morgan, is here to help us make sense of Hillary’s recent episode of finger-pointing about her loss.
If you’d like to see this interview in its entirety, you can do so here but this is a little clip that might give you the gist of what she thinks was her downfall.
Notice that you don’t see her actually taking the blame for the problems, you see her taking the blame for not foreseeing all the bad things that happened to her.
Here’s a little recap of what she thinks happened:
1) It was the Russians’ fault.
2) It was FBI director James Comey’s fault
3) It was the media’s fault.
4) And it was sexist men’s fault.
Now for that outside perspective, I promised you. Piers Morgan is here to remind us of exactly what did go down when Hillary lost last November.
Via Daily Mail:
Lest we forget, the ‘most qualified candidate in the history of the United States’ was beaten by a real estate tycoon who hosted a reality TV show.
Now Hillary’s coming over as the worst kind of whiny brat loser who can’t bear the fact somebody else won the prize she assumed she was entitled to win.
She still appears in complete denial about the real reason she lost, so let me help her with that because I can pinpoint the exact moment.
It came during a mid-evening speech she made to a star-studded audience at a fund-raiser in New York on Friday, September 11, when she suddenly decided to abuse, denigrate and mock tens of millions of her fellow Americans.
‘You could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,’ Hillary sneered. ‘Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic – you name it.’
Hillary, basking in their applause, added: ‘He has lifted them up. Now some of these folks are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.’
This was the day that Hillary finally tipped her hand and showed middle America what she thought of them. She displayed her overt disdain for the middle class and the middle class returned the favor. Personally, I’m fervently and eternally grateful for that speech because it showed many an optimist what a lot of us already knew; she talked a good game, but Hillary was nothing more than an elitist who’s agenda had nothing to do with American and everything to do with cronyism.
So here’s to the deplorables, and to Hillary’s famed speech that gave the work-weary the kick in the pants they needed to go vote. Maybe not so much for President Trump as against Hillary. But hey, whatever works.
