Coffee giant Starbucks was facing a colossal attack from Christians all over the country for introducing holiday edition plain red cups, last year. Previously, Starbucks was known for its traditional Christmas prints and ornaments on their cups. Last year they decided to be more tolerant and “embrace and welcome customers from all backgrounds and religions in its stores around the world.”
While some considered it to be a non-issue, many saw a devastating pattern of strong fear of even mentioning Christ during the Holiday Season. Donald Trump, then the front-running presidential candidate, and no president-elect, could no longer take it. “If I become president, we’re all going to be saying, ‘Merry Christmas’ again. That I can tell you.”
He even offered to boycott Starbucks. “I have one of the most successful Starbucks in Trump Tower. Maybe we should boycott Starbucks? I don’t know. Seriously, I don’t care. By the way, that’s the end of that lease but who cares.”
And Trump got many supporters. “Do you realize that Starbucks wanted to take Christ and Christmas off of their brand-new cups? That’s why they’re just plain red.”
So let’s take action and share
This is why Trump won, these sorts of things. He stood up for Christianity when everyone else in the world thinks we’re the problem.
News flash: We’re not. Trump won and we love this!
