This bit of news is just nothing but sheer awesomeness. And the best part is, it’s all fact based.
A Quinnipiac poll showing favorability between presidential candidates has also shown what words best describe each candidate according to the public taking the poll. It’s important to note that these words were not given to anyone taking the poll previously as a multiple choice. They were written down off the top of each poll-takers head.
Trump’s #1 word was “arrogant” which is not surprising. Trump is a boisterous and bombastic personality that many people could see as arrogant given his style of public speaking. It doesn’t detract from him being a good candidate.
The words associated with Hillary Clinton, however, are far less flattering as you can see from the picture below.
Here’s a full transcript of the question:
16. What is the first word that comes to mind when you think of Hillary Clinton? (Numbers are not percentages. Figures show the number of times each response was given. This table reports only words that were mentioned at least five times.)liar 178dishonest 123untrustworthy 93experience 82strong 59Bill 56woman47smart 31crook 21untruthful 19criminal 18deceitful 18Democrat 16intelligent 15email 14politician 13Benghazi 12corrupt 12crooked 11capable 10determined 10good 10leader 9murder 9qualified 9
Yup. Those top 3 are the words I’d associate with her as well. And you can essentially combine the first 3 rows together since they really mean the same thing. This means that 394 times it was mentioned that she is a deceitful person. Best part, this is a poll consisting of conservatives, liberals, and independents. Everyone is turning on Clinton and I couldn’t be happier.
