Obama has had some insulting and inflammatory words recently for anyone and everyone in the GOP regarding the Syrian refugee crisis. The GOP has come out saying that refugees aren’t welcome here especially given the recent immigration crisis in Europe and the Paris attacks last Friday. Obama accused the GOP’s response as political posturing.
Well Ted Cruz thinks that those are fighting words, and I don’t blame him. Most of the GOP felt insulted and now Cruz is speaking out against this character assassination attempt by the president.
Sen. Ted Cruz had sharp words for President Barack Obama over his comments regarding Republican rhetoric on Syrian refugees, saying his statement ‘is utterly unbefitting of a president.’
‘If you want to insult me, you can do it overseas, you can do it in Turkey, you can do it in foreign countries, but I would encourage you, mister president, come back and insult me to my face.’
WOW! Now THOSE are fighting words. Here’s a video of his response. It’s epic.
Awesome. Cruz is looking like a stronger and stronger candidate for the GOP in the race for the 2016 election. Trump and Carson still lead, but Cruz is coming up strong in 3rd and with statements like this, he’s winning over fans fast.
