Omarosa Manigault is on the offensive. Her stunning departure from the White House provided fodder for her enemies. One journalist went so far as to claim that Manigault had been physically dragged from the property by special service agents.
Manigault’s response was to defend herself and attack the president. She wasn’t fired, she insists, she resigned. According to Manigault, she left her post within the Trump administration because she disagreed with his handling of race.
“As the only African-American woman in this White House, as a Senior Staff and as an assistant to the president, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people,” Manigault told ABC News.
“When I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear.”
Manigault is a drama queen; her wild behavior is what gave credence to the rumor that she was fired.
She’s the latest casualty in a string of high-profile departures from Washington. The Trump administration has struggled to keep itself afloat. The problem, however, doesn’t reside with President Trump but with lazy conservatives like Mitch McConnell.
“People had problems with my 14-year relationship with this president. I’ve always been loyal to him,” Manigault said.
Sources say that she clashed with many of the people working alongside the president. She seemed to be too devoted to glitz and glamour to care about helping the country.
