Joran Van der Sloot’s best friend John Ludwick has a lot to say. What happened to Natalee Holloway? America is still fascinated by the mystery.
Ludwick’s story is grim. He claims that Natalee died after a botched rape attempt. The Daily Mail writes: “Ludwick apparently told Gabriel that van der Sloot disposed of Natalee’s body with help from his father Paulus, a judge on the island, after the teen choked to death on her own vomit soon after she was given a drink that had been spiked with GHB.”
Ludwick implicates himself by admitting that he helped dispose of the body. He explains to his interviewer that he helped burn Natalee’s skull inside a cave. Investigators believe that his tips may have led to the discovery of her remains.
“The mtDNA test traces a person’s matrilineal or mother-line ancestry using the DNA in his or her mitochondria… If the mtDNA inside the bone fragments matches that in the saliva provided by Beth Holloway, that will be conclusive evidence that Natalee’s remains have been found.”
The imagination of a generation was captured by Natalee’s disappearance. She was an innocent teen who was preyed upon by a monster. Her family has been suffering for more than a decade as their daughter’s case went unsolved and her murderer remained unpunished.
Now, her family may finally be getting answers.
