Bill O’Reilly’s legal troubles are just beginning. The slimeball’s sexual harassment accusers are ganging up on him and suing for defamation. O’Reilly paid a whopping $45 million to make the women go away, and it still wasn’t enough.
“Andrea Mackris, a former producer on O’Reilly’s show, and former Fox Business Network host Rebecca Gomez Diamond have joined the defamation suit filed by fellow O’Reilly accuser Rachel Witlieb Bernstein,” the Daily Mail reports.
The women claim that O’Reilly re-victimized them by bashing them in the press. Mackris, who settled a harassment claim against the host for $9 million in 2004, says that she was deeply affected by the attack campaign launched against her online.
O’Reilly’s team is still saying that he’s innocent. According to their version of events, O’Reilly paid $45 million in hush money for indecencies that never occurred.
Mackris alleges that while she was working with O’Reilly, he would call her and engage in lurid, sexually-explicit conversations.
“So anyway I’d be rubbing your big boobs and getting your nipples really hard, kinda’ kissing your neck from behind … and then I would take the other hand with the falafel thing and I’d put it on your p***y, but you’d have to do it really light, just kind of a tease business,” O’Reilly told her in one of the phone calls.
O’Reilly has lost his job and reputation, but he’s still wildly wealthy. If his accusers win their lawsuit, he’ll need to be.
“They are tired of being smeared with lies by a bully who thinks that his victims are afraid to answer to them,” the lawyer for the women, Nancy Erika Smith, said.
“They are standing up for the truth, joining the many voices of brave women who are no longer tolerating abuse or being silenced.”
