Why didn’t Obama do more to stop the Russians?
It’s 2018 and society’s attention is still wrapped up in the last presidential election. Mutterings of voter tampering have grown stronger rather than weaker. On Friday the Justice Department indicted 13 Russian nationals more meddling in the campaign.
The Russia investigation is multi-pronged. The branch that’s been poking into allegations of collusion between President Trump and Vladimir Putin is exploring a dead-end.
Investigators have had more luck digging up dirt on Moscow than Trump.
“Defendants operations included supporting the presidential campaign on then-candidate Donald J. Trump and disparaging Hillary Clinton,” reads Friday’s indictment.
“Specialists were instructed to post content [on social media] that focused on politics in the USA and to use any opportunity to criticize Hillary and the rest except Sanders and Trump — we support them.”
Russia attacked our election system while Barack Obama was in office. Yet his administration did nothing to stop it. The former president waited until after the election to punish guilty individuals.
Team Obama admits they underestimated the scale of the problem. “Had we known what we knew three weeks later, we may have done something more,” Obama’s vice president, Joe Biden, said.
President Trump inherited the problem and 100 percent of the blame. Democrats are obsessed proving their bizarre theory President Trump colluded with Moscow to win the presidency.
“Obama was President up to, and beyond, the 2016 Election. So why didn’t he do something about Russian meddling?” Trump wrote on Twitter.
Moscow vehemently dies the meddling allegations.n
“There are no indications that the Russian state could have been involved in this and nor can there be any,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.
“Russia did not meddle, does not have the habit of meddling in the internal affairs of other countries, and is not doing so now.”
