2018 is off to a wild start. President Trump is busy doing what he does best, pissing off liberals. After a particularly raucous week, the U.S. ambassador to Panama submitted his resignation.
“As a junior foreign service officer, I signed an oath to serve faithfully the president and his administration in an apolitical fashion, even when I might not agree with certain policies,” Ambassador John Feeley said.
“My instructors made clear that if I believed I could not do that, I would be honor bound to resign. That time has come.”
Feely has too much pride to associate himself with the Trump administration any longer. He’s either making a very smart or very foolish career move, probably the latter. A lot of liberals are confusing Trump’s unconventionality for racism or sexism.
US Ambassador to Panama John Feeley, a career diplomat & a fmr Marine Corps helicopter pilot has resigned, telling the State Dept he no longer feels he is able to serve under Trump.
If you stay in this administration, you are in fact racist as well. More resignations, please.

“Ambassador Feeley informed leadership of his decision on December 27, 2017,” the state department said, responding to comments that his resignation might have been prompted by controversial comments made by President Trump this week.
On Thursday the political world was rattled by leaked comments Trump made about immigration. He spoke negatively about African countries before wondering aloud why the U.S. doesn’t accept more immigrants from countries like Norway.
The State Department added that Feely “has informed the White House, the Department of State, and the Government of Panama of his decision to retire for personal reasons, as of March 9 of this year.”
Feely is the first ambassador to split with the Trump administration, but he may not be the last. The left keeps finding new things to feel sanctimonious about.
