Actress and self-appointed political analyst Tina Fey has taken it upon herself to try and right the wrong of Hillary’s political loss. According to Fey, the election was lost by a margin of white females in possession of higher education.

I have so many issues with just that statement. First off, it is just dripping with elitism. Apparently, Donald Trump is so bad you can shame people for not voting for him, but women without a college degree are too stupid to notice?
Also, is a Trump supporter allowed to blast men who voted for Hillary? I think not. And don’t even start with me about it’s being about some kind of female struggle. Fey has no struggle, her biggest problem is probably which famous friend to eat an overpriced salad with. Side note: Do you suppose she eats Russian dressing?
Also, is she telling us what to do? Because you know you can’t do that. We have rights, and as women, it’s our inalienable right to do the exact opposite of whatever we are told to do.

“The thing that I kinda keep focusing on is the idea that we sort of need to hold the edges, that it’s sort of like a lot of this election was turned by kinda white college-educated women who would now maybe like to forget about this election and go back to watching HGTV and I would want to urge them to like ‘You can’t look away.’
Many women (and men) did not love her opinion.

I bet she tells women to calm down as well and wonders why that never works

This is the first I’m hearing that white women are responsible for the election of President Trump, but hey, we’ll take it. I think the point is that now we can somewhat look away. Now that we know the ship isn’t being captioned by a felon and we’re not constantly bracing for impact.
And for the record, knocking HGTV isn’t the way into the hearts of “college educated white women,” that’s just a good way to start a fight.
