Confirmation is coming in from all over the media of a successful raid on an ISIS stronghold in Iraq.
U.S. special ops forces raided and rescued around 70 hostages all while capturing members of the ISIS movement.
The operation took place in Hawija in northern Iraq. The report quoted Iraqi officials in the area saying that the raid was ‘a significant joint strike’, targeting a prison operated by ISIS.
This strike was supported by Kurdish commandos and Iraqi forces as well. And the ISIS prisoners taken?
The raid not only freed about 70 prisoners, reported to be of both Arabic and Kurdish ethnicity, but also captured what the Times reported as ‘senior’ ISIS leaders.
Ooo Rah! Great work! Keep praying for our brave soldiers overseas fighting the ISIS scourge.
