Leading up to Sunday night’s Academy Awards, “La La Land” was the odds-on favorite to win the Oscar for best picture. However one of the most shocking incidents in Oscars history led to Moonlight receiving the award.
As to be expected, Twitter being Twitter, was quick to draw the comparison to the 2016 presidential election inevitable, and some of the jokes almost wrote themselves.
