What lengths will these people go to fulfill their agenda and fool the American people? To the ends of the Earth is the answer to that question. But luckily, we’re here to bring you the truth and this one is a doozy.
A few months ago there was news ALL over the liberal media saying that Melania Trump was an illegal and that her immigration status was highly suspect. Melania, as always, kept a cool head and said that she immigrated legally and that the stories were false. Turns out, she was exactly right and documents produced showed she was a legal immigrant.
The worst part about this though is the liberal media has reported exactly NOWHERE that the story was false. We dug up one article on it. Just one. And it isn’t even apologetic.
Melania Trump appears to have resolved questions about the legality of her immigration status in the 1990s, releasing a letter from an attorney on Wednesday that sought to clarify that situation.
Trump immigrated to the United States from Slovenia two decades ago. How she came over had become the subject of scrutiny after questions were raised in the timeline of her arrival to work as a model in the United States and because of her husband Donald Trump’s hard-line immigration stance.
Of course Donald Trump’s immigration stance is mentioned because he’s “evil” and a “racist” so they try to enforce that his immigration policy is bad for America, even when they’re totally wrong.
She posted a letter from her immigration attorney on Twitter, which she wrote, “states that, with 100% certainty, I correctly went through the legal process when arriving in the USA.”
Indeed, the letter does appear to answer all of the major questions about Trump’s immigration case. Michael J. Wildes, a partner at a New York law firm specializing in immigration and nationality, wrote the letter offering that Melania came to the U.S. legally.
So Melania is a legal immigrant! Yes! The whole story stemmed from a few articles reporting that in 1995 Melanie worked in the US as a model on an expired work visa, which in the Donald Trump world of immigration reform, is the biggest non-issue imaginable. Donald Trump is talking about illegal immigrants leeching off the federal government and costing the US $500 billion per year. Even IF Melania was here illegally, which she wasn’t, she was earning her own way and not syphoning welfare or blue collar jobs from the hard working American. Trump’s policy, and you really should read it, would essentially wipe that out. This report on Melania though, was total bulls**t.
As Talking Points Memonoted, the original Post story inaccurately credited the photos as having appeared in “the January 1996 issue of Max Magazine, whose cover featured a photo of supermodel Cindy Crawford.” That issue did not have Crawford on the cover, and it looks like the issue in question was actually from the start of 1997.
Ultimately, this appears to be a case where Trump and his campaign can point to erroneous reporting having led to a story that inaccurately portrayed him as a hypocrite. It’s a good look for Trump and a bad look for the media.
We owe it to Melania, Donald, and the entire Republican party to spread this EVERYWHERE. The liberal media won’t correct their own mistake and take ownership for being complete idiots, fine, we’ll expose it for them. Share this with everyone you know! Get the word out that Melania and the Trumps are law abiding citizens and NOT the liars the liberal media makes them out to be.
