According to Wikipedia Elon Reeve Musk is a South African-born Canadian-American business magnate, investor, engineer, and inventor. His most notable work has been for Tesla where he’s now the CEO. Apparently, the multi-billionaire has tri-citizenship in South Africa, Canada, and America. His United States citizenship is the most recently, only coming into effect in 2002.
Musk has decided that he’d like to take on the President’s less than progressive views on climate change by taking a huge stand in the wake of President Trump pulling out of the Paris agreement.
Am departing presidential councils. Climate change is real. Leaving Paris is not good for America or the world.

That might seem like a really monumental move, until one somewhat well known Texan decided to put it into perspective for us:
In support of Paris, CA billionaires pledge to never again fly private, will only fly commercial. J/K–will quit symbolic councils instead. https://t.co/58QdYaoZVH

Mr. Cruz has a point; Musk’s move was more symbolic than proactive. And I think it’s noteworthy at this point that the President has stated on numerous occasions that he plans to find another deal that will work for the United States. He’s not denying that there is an issue to be dealt with, he’s just refusing to walk through door A. Those who would have you believe this means he’s a science hating monster are conveniently leaving out the part where he plans to broker a new deal.
So yes, solar energy is good, and playing well with other countries is vital. Being bullied into doing something that’s bad for the American economy just because it might get you a little bit of bad press is not what President Trump is all about thought, and thankfully so. Let’s not let someone who’s only 1/3 loyal to the United States (and that only for only about the last 15 years) tell us how to run the country.
