Sarah Silverman has been a staple in the liberal media for quite some time, as she supported Bernie Sanders, then Hillary Clinton, and took part in many anti-Trump campaigns regularly over the past two years. This time might just take the cake, however.
She received massive backlash on social media after she mistook a construction sign for a Nazi swastika symbol. The 46 year old comedian tweeted this:
Walking to get coffee saw these all over a sidewalk in the town I'm in. Is this an attempt at swastikas? Do neo nazis not have google? pic.twitter.com/A4ses1G3ru

Obviously people were quick to point out to Silverman that the symbol was not a Nazi sign and was in fact, a construction sign.
Of course Silverman’s race baiting failed her here, because she apparently didn’t remember that facts don’t support or care about the narrative that you try to push.
The Twitter reaction was epic with some rather creative posts shaming and reminding Silverman of how stupid and idiotic her tweet was.
One Twitter use posted this in response to Silverman’s tweet.

As you can clearly see the markers were not swastikas and they were in fact fairly standard markers to aide utility workers. One construction worker on Twitter chimed in to suggest that they use the marks to note the locations of underground pipes, wires, etc.
This seems to be a running trend for the Democrats as Silverman’s mistake is very reminiscent of the time Huffington Post reporter and former Democrat Ryan Reilly mistook a set of ear plugs for rubber bullets.
Silverman later wrote that her misinterpretation reflected the unbearable amount of anti-Semitic hateful messages she sees on social media and on the television.
The truth, though is that she got caught up in her race baiting tactics, just like every Democrat seems to be doing these days. If this continues then Republicans will win in 2018 and Donald Trump will also win reelection in 2020.
