Sen. Al Franken’s career is being protected by Democrats. Rush Limbaugh notes that while liberals were quick to heap scorn upon Alabama’s Roy Moore, they’re more forgiving regarding their own party’s sexual transgressions.
“But what is becoming clear here, with all of the news we’re getting on Democrats engaging in sexual harassment and the basic mistreatment of women, John Conyers and Al Franken, the Democrats are going out of their way to save both of them, the Democrats and the media,” opined Limbaugh.
“The media is actually leading the charge with the Democrats following along dutifully to save Franken, which I think is good. Keep Franken there. He’s a buffoon, he’s an idiot, and with Franken there, there’s a consistent, ‘Well, what about Al Franken?’”
Limbaugh doesn’t mind if Franken manages to cling to his career because it will ultimately hurt the left. Franken’s a dummy.
“You know, as long as Franken stays there, then we retain the opportunity to point out the hypocrisy of these people,” Limbaugh continued.
Limbaugh is one of the few people that haven’t given up on Roy Moore. The suspected pedophile has been abandoned by most conservatives, with Limbaugh and President Trump being notable exceptions.
“But I actually think he’s gonna win now. You’re looking at me like — I think there’s a good chance Roy Moore could win. I think this is gonna upset conventional wisdom big time. And I’m not the only one,” Limbaugh said.
“Now, stop and think about that for a second. With the endorsement of Trump he wins. That flies in the face of what the Drive-Bys are telling us about Trump and Moore. If you listen to them, Trump’s endorsement ought to kill Trump and Moore, not help either one, right?”
