If there’s one thing President Trump knows, it’s money. How to make it, how to spend it and how to manage it to get what you want. This might be the number one reason that he was elected to the Presidency; because America has so much crippling debt we are going to have to pull it together if we don’t want to have to sell off chunks of land just to buy our way out of this mess.
Sometimes, both fortunately and unfortunately, all it takes to turn the economy toward an upswing is just emotion. In this case, hope has started to bring several industries around. This has caused the lowest unemployment in 17 years. That means that high school seniors this year will be graduating into the best economy of their lives.
Via Conservative Tribune:
The American economy is booming, and just to add to the winning: the number of Americans collecting unemployment checks fell to the single lowest it has been in 17 years. That makes it the lowest number this century.
The government reported Thursday that the last time unemployment offices sent out so few check was in April of 2000.
According to a statement released by the Department of Labor: “The advance number for seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the week ending April 8 was 1,979,000, a decrease of 49,000 from the previous week’s unrevised level of 2,028,000.
“This is the lowest level for insured unemployment since April 15, 2000, when it was 1,962,000. The 4-week moving average was 2,023,500, a decrease of 2,000 from the previous week’s unrevised average of 2,025,500. This is the lowest level for this average since June 17, 2000, when it was 2,016,750.”
I hate to make this too much of a downer for the liberals, but that kinda looks like a win for the President. Even MSNBC reported the new job numbers about a month into the Trump Presidency and I kind of think that they wanted to blame that on the weather?
They can say it’s caused by anything they want, but it sure is a big coincidence.
