Independence Day is usually a day when we put aside our political differences in order to celebrate living in a country where diversity is considered a good thing. A diversity of ethnicity, religion and political thought keeps all of us on our toes and ensures that government doesn’t sway too far in a particular direction.
Not everyone is ready to embrace that though; our former Commander in Chief has been spending his time trying to undermine the efforts of President Trump to enact what he considers to be best for America. Obama elaborated on that point in a speech just days ago.
Via The Root:
“The Paris agreement, even with the temporary absence of U.S. leadership, will still be a critical factor in helping our children solve the enormous challenge in civilization,” Obama said at the conference organized by South Korea’s Chosun Ilbo media group.
Trump withdrew from the Paris Agreement in June and then said last month he was open to renegotiating aspects of the agreement.
Obama also met with South Korean President Moon Jae-in after the speech to discuss the future relationship between the U.S. and Asia.
Apparently, some people wanted to hear from one of the creators of the Paris agreement, and instead of actual useful information they got more of the liberal party line of “our ideas are good, please don’t investigate, just trust us. Also, Trump is terrible.”
President Trump didn’t let it bother him too much though. He did, however, reassure everyone in his official Independence Day statement to everyone at the White House.

Obviously, when you can’t crucify a conservative on their own merit you can always try and compare them to yourself in some random way and see if that sticks. The support for President Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Agreement has been fantastic from his conservative base. His main transgression, as usual, has been to undo what his predecessor did to undermine the U.S. economy.
If the liberals (Obama included) don’t like what is happening in the White House, then they’re welcome to do what conservatives did in 2016 and vote him out. Until then, they’re only hurting their cause acting like petulant toddlers, hurling insults and throwing fits.
This is why we needed to make America great again in the first place.
