President Trump and his wife Melania are genuinely nice people. Trump isn’t a political machine like Hillary Clinton, churning along a voter-approved path. He’s himself, always.
A Chicago couple recently got a taste of the Trump family’s considerateness. Brianna and Timothy Dargert of Orland Park weren’t expecting much when they invited President Trump and his wife to their wedding.
They were stunned, therefore, when months after their nuptials they received a letter from the White House.
“Congratulations on your wedding. We join your family and friends in celebrating this joyous occasion and your love and commitment to one another. May your hearts grow fonder and your love deeper each day, and may God continue to bless your life together,” the letter read.
Both the president and first lady signed the letter.
Trump knows how to connect with people. That’s why his supporters love him so much. He knows how to make people feel valued. The Dargert family now has a memory that they can cherish for the rest of their lives.
“We both admire the President greatly… and to receive something from him personally completely touched our hearts. It is wonderful to see that he truly cares about the American people!” the couple wrote in an email.
President Trump is already known for making surprise appearing at weddings. In the last year, he’s popped into multiple celebrations underway at one of his golf clubs.
According to the Daily Mail:
“This is not the first wedding that Trump has crashed at his Bedminster golf club.In June, the president made a surprise appearance at a wedding reception where he signed a few ‘Make America Great Again’ hats and gave them to the guests. And in August, Trump hopped out of his golf cart to drop in on a pair of unsuspecting lovebirds when he crashed a wedding on the first day of his 17-day golf vacation.”
