If you happen to flick past the fake news channels today, you’ll see mainstream media pundits doing what they do best- complaining about President Trump.
Their current gripe involves a comment the president made regarding Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
During an event honoring Native American Code Talkers who served in the military during WWII, Trump took a jab at Warren’s past claims of native heritage.
“You were here long before any of us were here. Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas,” Trump quipped.
Before the meeting was over, Trump offended again by referring to White House chief of staff John Kelly as “Chief.”
“He’s the general and the chief,” the president said. “I said, how good were these code talkers? He said, ‘Sir, you have no idea. You have no idea how great they were.’”
Leave it to liberals to get upset over nothing. We get it. President Trump’s not PC; he says things that Barack Obama would never even have hinted. He is not, however, racist. The left keeps trying to push that false narrative.
“Like I said, I think the more offensive — the most offensive thing — look, I think Sen. Warren was offensive when she lied about something to advance her career. I don’t know why no one is asking that question and why isn’t that constantly covered,” White House press secretary Sanders said.
Warren, of course, fed into the drama.
“This was supposed to be an event to honor heroes, people who put it all on the line for our country,” Warren whined to MSNBC. “It is deeply unfortunate that the president of the United States can’t even make it through a ceremony honoring these heroes without throwing out a racial slur.”
President Trump likes to joke around. Calling Sen. Warren “Pocahontas” was unexpected, but not racist.
