Michelle Obama isn’t going to run for president.
“They’re tired of watching us do the same old thing and expect different results,” Obama, 54, said Tuesday. “So I’m optimistic about the future. There are some bright young people out there doing some amazing things.”
Obama’s vanity, however, is so great that what she wants to populate the Democratic party with drones to do her bidding.
“This is why I’m not going to run for president,” she said.
“Because I think it’s a better investment to invest in creating thousands of mes… We don’t need just one — we need thousands and thousands.”
What a terrifying idea. A bunch of political Obama clones is the last thing this country needs. Barack Obama didn’t drive the country into the ground, but he didn’t exactly do a stellar job either.
The country is thriving under President Trump, going back to having an Obama in the White House would halt our progress.
“As an older leader, I think an important part of leadership is stepping out of the way and making room. We’re not finding that new energy out there,” Obama continued.
Democrats love her. They still haven’t found a reasonable candidate who stands a chance of defeating Trump in 2020. Obama couldn’t either, but she’s a likable, “safe” choice.
It’s not surprising that she decided not to run. The Obamas, whatever else they are, are politically crafty. Michelle Obama’s chances of winning the presidency are far too uncertain for the couple to risk launching a campaign.
“We give too much credit to leadership. We wait for some leader to tell us what to do,” Obama said.
“These problems aren’t solved by a man. It is not a leader. It is us. We have more power to change the way people think, to change the way we treat everybody, to change the way people see us in the world, by the actions we take every single day.
