Today there will be very little to talk about other than Meryl Streep’s self-important hissy fit as she melted down live on stage for the world to see. The topic? Trump of course as she and the rest of the Hollywood, crybaby elite continue to go off the deep end.
What Streep said resonated within the room at the Golden Globes, and reached a wide, liberal audience. But the cold hard truth and crushing reality of Trump winning is showing us a point that may Americans are coming to realize.
No one cares what celebrities think anymore, and there’s no one better to take these entitled brats down than Mark Dice:

Some of the world’s most famous celebrities #stoodwithher, and it did a whole lot of nothing for Hillary Clinton.
Instead, Clinton lost states that went red for the first time in decades.
Celebrities of today don’t utilize their talents to make a difference, they just assume being famous and being present are enough.
Streep gave an impassioned speech at the Golden Globes Sunday railing against Trump. “There was one performance this year that stunned me. It sank its hooks in my heart. Not because it was good; there was nothing good about it. But it was effective and it did its job. It made its intended audience laugh, and show their teeth,” she said, reaching an ever-dwindling award show audience. “Disrespect invites disrespect, violence incites violence. And when the powerful use their position to bully others we all lose. O.K., go on with it.”
celebrity star power does not translate well in politics, because getting fans to spend money on a concert or movie is very different from getting those same people to vote.
And this is the problem with liberal Hollywood. They live in a bubble so totally removed from reality that they believe their words matter. They do not and Trump’s election is all the proof we need to confirm that fact.
Hollywood should stick to what it’s good at: making us laugh and making films about fart jokes. Stay out of the big leagues, you’re going to get burned.
