Melania Trump has taken off her kid gloves and is DESTROYING Ivana in an official statement after the ex-Trumpess called herself the real “First Lady.”
The report came this morning that the President’s first wife allegedly still has a close relationship with him, but it came from Ivana’s own mouth and on television show Good Morning America… so it MUST be true (NOT).
Anyone with half a mind can observe the blatant grasp at publicity for her new book, Raising Trump. The Mean Girl antics of the ex-Trump was both cringey and ill-timed, as Melania spat back just hours later in an official statement that threw so much shade that Ivana will be in the dark forever.
Ivana said that she still speaks to the President about once every two weeks, and has a direct line to the White House but refuses to use it. She claims that she doesn’t want to cause any issues between her ex-husband and his wife Melania.
Oh yeah, Ivana, because you’re sooooo important that your opinion, or even presence, would ever be noted as anything more than desperate. Ergh.
“Melania is there and I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or anything like that because I’m the first Trump wife. I’m the first lady, OK?” Ivana said on GMA.
As expected, the utter disrespect presented by Ivana was met with fury from the REAL First Lady, Melania, our #1 bae.
The statement from the REAL Mrs Trump was read by Stephanie Grisham this morning: “Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and The President. She loves living in Washington, DC and is honored by her role as First Lady of the United States. She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books.
“There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex. Unfortunately only attention seeking and self-serving noise,”
The whole ordeal has even had Andy Cohen, producer of the Rea Housewives shows on Bravo gobsmacked. He tweeted:
As much as we’d love a Real Housewives of the White House TV special, we think that’s a bit more Ivana’s standard of publicity. Melania is too busy being THE REAL FIRST LADY.
Is there anything more desperately pathetic than a sad, aging ex? No.
To be quite frank, it’s not like Ivana’s comments weren’t anticipated. She’s been bitter about all of Trump’s relationships since theirs. She still openly blames Marla Maples for the downfall of her marriage to the now-President.
Ivana even refused to call Ms. Maples by her real life, instead choosing to refer to her as the “showgirl.”
We think this just about sums up how tragic Ivana can really be. Then again, it’s not easy being traded up for newer models, we’re just shocked that the 68-year-old continuous to handle herself so childishly. Grow up, Ivana, and move on.
