Surprise! Harvey Weinstein is still a jerk. His scheme to save his career by running away to rehab is failing. Sources say his behavior at the expensive clinic he enrolled himself in is even worse than people predicted it would be.
“Harvey fell asleep in his chair. He was only woken up by the ringing of his smuggled mobile phone [which is banned at the facility] . . . Harvey jolted awake, jumped up, immediately took the call and then ran out of the room,” a source spilled to Page Six.
Weinstein is both entitled and delusional. Of course he’s flouting the rules already. Contradictorily, he both admitted his need for help and expressed his innocence at the same time. He’s in rehab for an admitted sex addiction, yet he still insists that he never did anything wrong.
“He insists he never raped or assaulted anyone, and that all the encounters were consensual. He realizes he has acted like an a–hole, but he still insists he’s not a rapist. He does have his phone, but when he is in therapy, he has to give it to someone else,” the source said.
“The characterization of what he said and what happened at the group session isn’t true.”
While Weinstein is busy annoying everyone at rehab, the number of his accusers is steadily increasing. His perversions were apparently Hollywood’s worst kept secret. Multiple new allegations have been made since he first tucked himself away.
Either there’s a football team-sized group of women out to ruin him, or Weinstein is a very, very bad man.
