To be clear, I’m not 100% against Waters running for President. Part of me thinks that it would be so much fun to watch, and possibly embarrass the left and nudge the fence sitters who need to move over to the right. But the other party of me doesn’t think we should be making fun of this incredible democratic process that we have. This is a race for the highest office in the land, and it would be sad to see us make a mockery of it by encouraging a delusional geriatric that lacks the basic respect that a 5-year-old has make a serious run at the highest office in the land. This is real life, not Saturday Night Live, we’re stuck with this stuff being put in the history books.
