Nobody likes Hillary Clinton. Even people who voted for her seem like they’re embarrassed about their choice. Instead of quietly fading away, Clinton’s sticking around like a bad rash. George Clooney, who threw his support behind Clinton during the election, now admits that he never really liked her that much.
“When she got up and gave a speech, it didn’t soar. Now, that doesn’t mean that she wouldn’t have done a great job as president, and I supported her because by the time we did the fundraiser the primary was over at that point and it was time to get on with picking someone,” Clooney explained.
In other words, he stuck with Clinton because he had no choice. Like most Hollywood elites Clooney’s a liberal shill who reliably, and predictably votes Democrat. He might be willing to admit that she was an awful candidate now that her chances have been demolished, but during the campaign, he spouted all kinds of pro-Clinton nonsense.

2017 Clooney has a far more reasonable view of Clinton than his younger self.
“Being qualified for the job does not necessarily mean you’re the right person to be president,” Clooney said during an interview. “Here’s what I mean… She was more qualified than even her husband was when he was elected president, but she’s not as good at communicating things. That’s simply true.”
Poor Clinton. Even her lackeys are abandoning her. Clooney was one of her biggest donors, raising millions of dollars for her campaign.
“I think that she wasn’t particularly good at articulating the things that she wanted to do,” Clooney said. “Don’t you think the next Democrat who runs should just run with a blue hat that says, ‘Make America Great Again?”
