For conservatives these days, it can be difficult to stomach a lot of the propaganda and general garbage churned out by the liberal infested Hollywood. It seems like every movie, television show, and commercial is filled to the brim with the left-wing agenda, which very often entails trashing half of the country.
While the overwhelming majority of the media produced in the United States suffers from this, there are still a few directors and creators out there staying rather apolitical or even taking risks by daring to appeal to conservative America. One of those folks is legendary actor/director Clint Eastwood, who’s back with another film that the plebeians in flyover country can appreciate.
As reported at the Daily Mail, the trailer for Eastwood’s latest film “15:17 to Paris” just hit the web, and it’s sure to cause a lot eye-rolling from liberals as it chronicles the 2015 Paris train attack that was thwarted by 3 Americans on vacation in the city.
What makes the film even more interesting is that rather than cast actors to play the roles of the 3 heroes, he decided at the last minute that they’d be playing themselves.
The 3 men involved, Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos, and Spencer Stone penned the book used for the adaptation with help of writer Jeffrey E. Stern.
The three were long-time friends who met attending Freedom Christian School in Fair Oaks, California. In 2015, Sadler flew out to Europe to vacation with Skarlatos and Stone, who were in the military at the time and on leave.
They were on their way to Paris when their train was attacked by a radical Islamic gunman, Ayoub El Khazzani, who came out of the bathroom brandishing an AK-47.
