Joe Biden has jumped on the bandwagon. Democrats have been eagerly writing books in an attempt to explain what happened during the 2016 election. Biden, who was thisclose to being the nominee, reveals that he was pushed out of the race by Hillary Clinton’s dirty dealings.
“’But if I ran, I told her (Clinton), I would not run a negative campaign. She said the same,” he writes.
However, Clinton immediately added: “Although some of our supporters can get out of hand sometimes, it would not be me.”
Fears of how dirty Clinton was willing to get kept Biden out of the campaign. He experienced multiple personal tragedies in the months leading up to the election, and it sickened him to think that his pain would be used against him.
The Daily Mail reports: “But at the time his bereaved family was being torn apart by his surviving son Hunter’s bitter split from his wife amid accusations of blowing a fortune on drugs and sex with prostitutes. Hunter then started a new relationship, with his brother Beau’s widow.”
If Biden had run, a lot of analysts believe that he would have won. The very tragedies that Clinton sought to weaponize against made him a sympathetic character to the public.
“My numbers on trustworthiness, honesty, and empathy were as high as they had ever been. And I was strongest where the most formidable candidate, Hillary Clinton, was weakest: the key swing states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Florida,” Biden writes.
Clinton has finally been exposed.
